Profhilo 

The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into skin, Profhilo® stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.

One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. Who is suitable for profhilo treatment?

Does having Profhilo treatment Hurt?

You will feel a stinging sensation on injection but the needles used for our injections are small, so pain is usually very mild. 

How is Profhilo different to fillers?

Profhilo doesn’t add volume or change the structure or shape of the face. Profhilo acts as an ‘injectable moisturiser’ and hydrator, rather than a volumizing filler. Both are rejuvenating anti-aging treatments. Profhilo improves overall skin quality and restores plumpness in the skin.

How long does the results last?

Profhilo lasts around 6-9 months when two treatments are given a month apart. 

You may start to see a gradual improvement in the skin over those four weeks, but it is usually not until the second dose the client will see the result.

After you’ve had these initial treatments, we then recommend having a refresh appointment every 6 – 12 months, for optimum results.

When can I go back to work? 

Straight away. 

There will be small lumps on the face immediately after where the product has been injected; they go down after around 30 minutes but can persist for up to 24 hours.

 

Are there any risks & complications? 

You may get swelling and some minor bruising.

 

Can I still have Botox and dermal fillers? 

Profhilo is a perfect partner for botox treatments. While botox combats wrinkles caused by particular muscles, Profhilo gives an overall radiance, complimenting the botox.

Dermal fillers can also be used in conjunction, to add volume to specific areas, while Profhilo provides more general revitalisation.
